2010 Green Building Award
WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 2010 GREEN BUILDING AWARDS PROGRAM
The Green Building Association of Central Pennsylvania is pleased to invite entries for the 2010 Green Building Awards Program. All members of the design and construction community, as well as building owners, are encouraged to submit their best green and sustainable built work for review by a jury of peers. Eligible work includes both public and private sector commercial and residential building projects, including new construction, interior fit-out, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, renovation projects, and ongoing operation and maintenance projects.
Eligible new construction and renovation projects and interior fit-out projects must be located in the United States, and must have been completed between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2009. These projects do not need to be LEED registered or certified to be eligible for this award program.
Eligible ongoing operations and maintenance projects must have been awarded a certification in the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED EBOM) rating system by December 31, 2009. Please note that buildings certified under earlier versions of the LEED for Existing Buildings rating system are not eligible for this award.
New construction, renovation, and interior fit-out projects
Entrants in this area are invited to submit for an award in one or more of the following categories:
- Sustainable Sites
- Water Efficiency
- Energy and Atmosphere
- Materials and Resources
- Indoor Environmental Quality
- Innovation in Design
Registration & Application fee
The 2010 Green Building Awards application fee is $100 for GBACAP members and $200 for non-members
Register for the 2010 Green Building Award Program
- The degree to which measurable performance levels have been achieved in each category, using the LEED credit requirements in each category as benchmarks.
- The degree to which sustainable goals have been achieved cost-effectively.
- The degree to which integrated design or O&M strategies were implemented to achieve these goals.
